Twin size mattresses are the most common size for individual sleepers, especially in vacation homes, kids’ rooms and daybeds. A Twin size mattress is spacious enough for an individual looking to emphasize the space in a small room. The standard measurements for Twin size mattress are 38” by 75”

Full size mattresses give an adult plenty of room and also allow for children to grow into the bed, saving money on replacing mattresses year after year. Keep in mind, Full mattresses can often be too short in length for the average sized man. The full size is 53'' by 75''.

Queen size mattresses are among the most common for couples or sprawling sleepers. The standard Queen size mattress is 60” by 80” and offers slightly more width than a full size. Queen sizes are perfect for smaller master bedrooms and guest rooms as well as for couples who enjoy close quarters. 

A Standard King size mattress is also referred to as an Eastern King and offers couples the maximum amount of sleeping space. A King size also fills a large bedroom, giving the room a luxurious centerpiece. Although a popular size for luxury, on the West Coast, 90% of all King sized mattresses are Cal King sizes. Be sure to keep this in mind during your purchase. The standard king size is 76" by 80''.

A California King size mattress is also referred to as a Western King because 90% of all King size mattresses sold on the West Coast are Cal Kings. Western King size mattresses offers four inches more length, with less width than a standard King. Like a standard King size mattress, a King size bed is a great way to add luxury and comfort to an open master bedroom. The california king is 72'' by 84''.
